CACAO-3 INGREDIENT RECIPES FOR INSIDE AND OUT

Now we’ve all heard that if we eat too much chocolate, we’ll get spots… Thankfully that’s not entirely true;  In fact, studies show that applying raw cacao offers many of the same benefits as eating it. 

So Cacao, which is Cocoa in its raw form, is teaming with antioxidants and minerals, that when applied topically result in a brightening and detoxifying effect.

These high levels of antioxidants work to protect and repair the skin whilst the potent anti-inflammatory properties work to reduce scarring and blemishes.

Excitingly what’s more, is according to the National Centre for Biotechnology Information, cacao protects and repairs skin from UV damage, including premature ageing.

CACAO AND RASSOUL CLAY MASK

1 tbsp Rassoul clay

1 tbsp organic cacao

Purified water

Trickle water and mix into a paste (using a wooden spoon). Apply and leave for 20 mins before rinsing off.

 

TIP: Be sure to enjoy a cup of chocolatey goodness whilst you wait- our favourite is made using Cacao, Almond milk and Maple syrup to sweeten. With its high magnesium content it’s a perfect way to boost your mood and destress. Enjoy!
